Use a 5V power source only, supplied via the controlled computer’s USB-A or USB-C port.

For safety and reliability, always power the JetKVM through the computer’s built-in USB port, the official ATX power extension, or the official DC power extension.

There is a compatibility issue with the Y-cable: Most PD chargers are not supported. Because the cable lacks PD negotiation lines, some chargers cannot reliably establish a 5V output with JetKVM. If the negotiated voltage exceeds 5V, the device may be damaged.

This is a serious reminder: if any device is damaged due to using a power output higher than 5V, it will be considered user-caused and the warranty will be void.
